Advanced Options with Outlook and Exchange Server

When you use Outlook 2003 as a client for Exchange Server, you can take advantage of some of Exchange 2000's advanced features for sending, receiving, and sharing mail. When sending email, you can take advantage of distribution lists stored on Exchange Server, as well as delegate access to others' mailboxes. With the appropriate permissions, you can send messages on behalf of another user or even send messages as another user.
