The basic technique for installing Windows 95 applications is essentially the same as installing other Windows applications; you run Setup (or Install) and follow the prompts. The Setup program takes care of all the details of installing the application. However, the Run feature is located in the Start menu in Windows 95.
One new feature of Windows 95 is an optional way to start an application's setup program: a new Install Programs Wizard accessible via the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel. The Add/Remove Programs dialog box provides a common starting point for adding and removing Windows applications and Windows system components and accessories.
