This chapter has shown you how to upgrade existing applications to use SOAP. In many cases, you won’t convert the application completely; you’ll add SOAP as a new feature to the existing application. Even if you do convert the application completely, you can still make use of the code you already have in place and upgrade the techniques you use to perform tasks such as handling errors.
