Working with Lists and Grids

In addition to text input fields, a frequent method of accepting user input is to display a list and allow the user to select one or more items. Even if you do not require the user to select a list item, lists can be used to display information in an organized manner. The Web Forms model contains several controls suitable for displaying all types of lists, everything from a single column of string values to an editable, data-bound grid.
