New Features for System Administrators
A host of new system administration features have been added to the Solaris OE. Enhancements affect system resources, the file system, system performance, and security. Additional features that have been incorporated into Solaris include system administration tools such as FX Scheduler and Resource Manager, installation features, server and client management features, device management features, removable media management features, and language support. Table A.1 details the new system administration features in Solaris 9.
