Using the Solaris Management Console (SMC) for Performance Monitoring
The Solaris Management Console (SMC) provides views that enable you to monitor performance statistics for processes running on a system and users working with the system. It also provides a performance summary of processes running on the system. In addition, information on the processes, system information, and a log viewer are provided in SMC. The following steps describe how you can access performance statistics in SMC:
1. | Launch SMC and access the System view under the System Status, Performance views (Figure 26.1).
