Reviewing the Current Status of a Project
The first level of analysis is to simply review progress vis-à-vis the current schedule and to assess the effects of actual performance on Project’s estimated finish date and cost for the project. To do this you can use the new Status and Status Indicator fields or you can use the graphical progress lines to quickly distinguish between the tasks that are on schedule and the tasks that are behind schedule. You can also use reports and views that show how the actual performance has modified the scheduled finish date and cost of the project that was captured in the baseline.
