About Filters and Effects

Filters and effects, in most cases, are simply shortcuts. They do automatically, or with the drag of a slider and the click of a button, what could take hours to do manually. There are some filters and effects that would be almost impossible to replicate step by step in Illustrator. Illustrator installs, by default, nearly 140 filters and effects.
