Understanding Solution Kits for Crystal Enterprise
Beyond relational databases, Crystal Reports also has the capability to access data held inside major ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. Crystal Decisions has produced solution kits for SAP, Baan, and Siebel. The Solution Kits are designed to work with large scale ERP and CRM deployments and are therefore based on Crystal Enterprise. These solution kits contain Data Source drivers for each of these systems, as well as documentation on how to create and edit reports based on these data sources. Also included are packages of prebuilt reports that can be used against your real data.
