Business Views Architecture and Implementation
The architecture provides multiple tiers with each tier performing a different function. This multitiered system is broken down into three layers: Client, Business, and Data Tiers.
Client Tier
The client tier consists of the applications that interact with Business Views, in particular, Crystal Reports 10 and the Ad Hoc Application 10. The Ad Hoc application is based on the Report Application Server (RAS), hence this object model has changed to incorporate Business Views.
