This chapter provides background and real-world examples of reporting capabilities that are available in Microsoft Project 2007. Many of the reporting capabilities have been available in previous releases; new in 2007 are Visual Reports that use the power of Excel and Visio to enhance your analysis with graphics. This chapter focuses on reporting using standard reports and covers only the basic capabilities. It is a good starting point, but most projects will need some customization for their specific needs. Customization is not covered in this chapter.
