About the author

For the last 21 years of her career as a professional librarian, Eva Semertzaki has been working at the Library of the Bank of Greece. Since 2008 she has been the deputy head of the library. It is a special research library focused on economics, banking, finance and related disciplines.

Eva received her bachelor’s degree in Greek classical studies at the University of Crete, Greece, in 1984. As a Fulbright-scholarship recipient, she got her master’s degree in library and information science at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts, in 1988.
