The 389 Directory Server (previously Fedora Directory Server)

This is developed by Red Hat, as part of Red Hat's community-supported Fedora Project. The name 389 is derived from the port number of LDAP. The key features of this server include multi-master replication, secure authentication and transport, online, zero downtime, LDAP-based update of schema, configuration, management, and in-tree Access Control Information (ACI) graphical console for all facets of user, group, and server management.
