SPSS analyzes your data and displays information in easy-to-understand tables and graphs. But the time comes when you want to take these results and use them in another application. You might want to send output to the printer or to another program, such as Microsoft Word or Excel. This chapter explains how to get your data out of SPSS and into the forms that other programs need.
Exporting Data to Another Program
You can export SPSS data directly to another program. Simply go to the Data View tab of the Data Editor window, and choose File ⇒ Export. Then choose the program to which you would like to export the data.
You can export data to the following programs and file types:
- Databases
- Microsoft Excel file
- CSV ...
