Creating the data source for the report

After the successful deployment of the multidimensional model for Analysis Services, close the project and create a new project. Now, create a new report.

Let's define a data source for our report:

  1. Add a new report data source in the Report Data window. Give your data source a name; in our case we put AnalysisServiceDatasource. Select Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services under the connection type:
