Creating a Power View report in SharePoint

We will see how PowerPivot, Power View, SharePoint, and SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services come together. This is where everything gets exciting. You'll be impressed how Microsoft Business Intelligence offering has come a long way.

  1. Open Internet Explorer and go to the SQL Reporting Collection website that we've created previously. If you've followed the previous instructions, the URL is http://sp2013/sites/SQLReporting.
  2. Create a new library using the PowerPivot Gallery template in SharePoint. To do that, from the site's menu, select Libraries. Click on add an app from the Site Contents section:
