Adding content to your site is the most important part of creating a website. Without content, your website doesn’t have a purpose. When you create a trial account on Squarespace, your site has placeholder content based on the template you chose. Now it’s time to add your own content.

Certain page types in Squarespace allow you to organize your content into page items to create a blog, a gallery, or a store. You add and position content within pages by using blocks. In this chapter, you discover the different types of blocks you can use, and then add, remove, and configure them. Then you find out how to use LayoutEngine to rearrange blocks within your pages and page items.
