System Namespaces

The System namespaces contain more basic classes that might be useful in languages other than C# and Visual Basic (if such languages were defined for .NET). They provide additional tools that would be useful for many programs, such as collection types, web tools, and globalization classes.

The following list summarizes the most useful System namespaces in the .NET Framework:
