Motivations, Traits, and Skills

Motivations, traits, and skills define you; they are distinct but interrelated.

Motivations drive your actions. They are your basic desires and fears. Your strongest motivations arise from the things that are the source of your happiness or that protect you from your primal fears.

Traits are the physiological and psychological characteristics that you are born with or that develop early in life. Traits are virtually impossible to change. Each trait has characteristics that make it harder or easier to master the skills of an EL. These traits affect your ability to perform the essential skills of an entrepreneurial leader:
