The objective of the popular casino card game Blackjack is to obtain cards, the sum of whose numerical values is as great as possible, without exceeding the value of 21. All face cards (king, queen, and jack) count as 10, and an ace can count as either 1 or as 11, depending upon the way the player wants to use it. Only the ace has this flexibility option.
