Let's start with the obvious. Social networking and all things mobile will continue to connect everyone to friends and family and their popular brands for as far out in the future as we can see—after all, Star Trek popularized the handheld mobile device that Americans alive in the 1960s thought then was pure science fiction. Mobile marketing will be a battleground for marketers as they attempt to make sure their apps are front and center versus their competitors.
