One might begin by asking who has the time to chitchat all day long and comment endlessly on what a particular company is doing well or not so well. Like beer drinkers in America, where a very small percentage drink most of the beer, probably several million Americans out of 310 million are active participants on blog sites and related venues. If you run a midsize to large company, you should provide community chat rooms and blogging opportunities so that others don't do it for you and in ways often not flattering to your business. And remember, there are always a few nuts out there who want to complain about anything and everything. Sometimes the best response is no response. You have to be the judge.
