In the 21st century, there are two basic consumer categories: adults and little adults. Maturation seems to happen at warp speed. Young children want to do the same things adults do—they want to surf the Net at age three. They want and get mobile phones and texting features and enter the adult digital world from birth, beginning and possibly ending 90 years later on Facebook. They are completely immersed in the adult world and watch more of our programs, eat the same food, and travel farther and more frequently than previous younger generations.
