In addition to popular subjects in terms of “customers like to buy these shots”, there is another favored category, “photographers like to shoot them”. These are for example sunsets, your own feet and your own shadow.
Needless to say, these subjects attract less buyers and it´s more difficult to make money with them. But let’s have a look.
6.1 Flowers and Plants
It’s simple reality: Agencies are overrun with mediocre flower shots – much more than they can ever sell. Why? Simple ... again. Many hobbyists try to test their cameras with flowers, since they are nice and colorful and they don’t run away.
