The end of your presentation ushers in a new beginning for your audience in terms of the actions they’ll (hopefully) start to take. A great presentation followed by a memorable conclusion can spark added skills, new insights, and perhaps changed attitudes.
On the other hand, a dud closing can completely undermine an otherwise great presentation. That’s why you must give your ending thoughtful consideration. Chapter 5 discusses great openings; now let’s discuss equally great endings — the two most important parts of any presentation.
