Storyboarding has a long history. In 1898, a Russian theatre practitioner, Konstantin Stanislavski, developed storyboards for his production plans for the performance of Chekhov’s The Seagull at the Moscow Art Theatre. Yes, storyboarding dates back that far! Better known, however, is Disney’s Webb Smith who’s considered the father of modern-day storyboards.
