THE SECOND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT EFFORT: INNOVATION E-SPACE
The first iteration of I-Pipe turned out to be the perfect Trojan horse to break through the KM skepticism. It provided many people with valuable information about the status of innovation efforts. But it was only a beginning. We also realized that we needed to do more to engage the entire Whirlpool population beyond tracking innovation ideas through the pipeline. We wanted a place where people could input suggestions and ideas, obtain feedback, and volunteer for innovation projects.
