Architecture Global Standard

A Global Standard—TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)

Having a defined and widely adopted standard methodology for doing enterprise IT architecture is an important breakthrough in this area. It means that there is an agreed upon method for developing an enterprise IT architecture and that learnings can be shared using a common set of terminology and frameworks. The Open Group has developed and published a global standard architecture methodology called TOGAF, which stands for The Open Group Architecture Framework.²² TOGAF is defined in their terms as follows.
