Sumantra Ghoshal and Christopher Bartlett’s ideas provide the foundation for this book, which started as a dialogue between the two authors: Mary Vradelis, who after 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector was completing her second master’s degree in business administration; and Jyoti Bachani, a strategy professor with several years of experience as a strategy consultant, primarily in large corporations, who was teaching the final capstone strategy class.
