Some of us find street photography easy, others find it uncomfortable or even scary. We often have fears about being confronted or challenged, or we have concerns about what people will think of us. The good news is that, even if the thought of shooting strangers terrifies you, there are plenty of things you can do to increase your comfort and confidence as a street photographer.
Remember—You’re Doing Nothing Wrong
Have it fixed in your mind that taking pictures is a perfectly normal activity and you’re not doing anything wrong. If your motives and intentions are clear then you should shoot with confidence.
