Practise what the Buddhists refer to as Loving Kindness. Think of it as your creative comfort food. Perhaps in your early years no one came to your rescue. When we were children we may not have had anyone to soothe our wounds or take care of our damaged egos so now, as the adult, it is your job to do the taking care of.
