Restoration day

Book yourself a day out. By tomorrow, you will feel rested, stronger and more in control.

All you need is 24 hours. If you have children ask someone else to look after them for as much of the day as possible. Remember that if you don’t look after yourself, you will have nothing left to give to others. It is best to follow a ‘schedule’ than lie in bed all day.

The restoration day is based on three principles:

  • Replenishing your body by giving it a rest.
  • Resting your brain by focussing on your body
  • Nourishing yourself with healthy, simple food which will replenish the nutrients stripped away by stress.
