THE MORAL COMPASS: HONESTY, INTEGRITY, FIDELITY, AND ETHICAL BEHAVIOR

In Chapter One we discussed the foundation of our version of resiliency, active optimism. In those who are truly resilient, optimism becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. In Chapter Two we argued that optimism is not enough. In order to resiliently bounce back when life has knocked you down, you must be decisive and act. Nevertheless, we acknowledged decisive action was often very difficult in the wake of adversity.
