RELENTLESS TENACITY: TRY, TRY AGAIN

What is tenacity? Think of it as perseverance, as steady persistence in a purposeful course of action, especially in spite of difficulties, adversity, or discouragement. As we read the lessons of history and spoke to resilient people, the theme of tenacity was undeniable. Before examining tenacity, however, let’s review where we are at this point in the book.

In Chapter One we discussed active optimism, an attitude that goes beyond a belief that things will turn out well. It’s the belief that you can make things turn out well.
