Conclusions

The Struts Bean library is a mixed bag of tags—some more useful than others. In general, the tags expose some internal aspect of the application to the JSP page.

As in previous chapters, the definitive documentation for these tags can be found in the Struts user guide and, in some cases, the Javadoc. However, especially in the case of less commonly used tags such as <bean:resource>, you might find this documentation less than helpful due to its sparseness. Hopefully, the examples given here help to shed some light on exactly what the tags do.
