This appendix will endeavour to highlight the differences between multi-camera studio production in the United States and the practices commonly found in UK multi-camera studio production. Naturally, there are many similarities between the two, and it is not uncommon for British directors and producers to work in the USA on programme formats that have been sold abroad, such as Dancing with the Stars (2005–), which is known as Strictly Come Dancing (2004–) in the UK.
