4 Subpixel Mapping Based on Multi-Shift Remote Sensing Images
4.1 INTRODUCTION
The traditional subpixel mapping based on a single remote sensing image lacks sufficient prior information, and it is difficult to accurately obtain the spatial distribution information of all land cover classes in the mixed pixel. Multi-shift images (MSIs) from the same area at the subpixel scale can be used as auxiliary data to improve the accuracy of subpixel mapping. However, the existing fine MSIs have the defects of insufficient spatial-spectral information of the original image, single-scale information, incomplete information types, and inaccurate temporal information, which affect the final subpixel mapping result.
