6.1 INTRODUCTION

The final result of subpixel mapping is to obtain thematic mapping with accurate spatial distribution information of each class. Due to the imperfections of the existing spectral unmixing technology, a large number of unmixing errors will be generated during the process of spectral unmixing. However, as a subsequent processing step of the spectral unmixing, the subpixel mapping results will inevitably be affected by these unmixing errors. Therefore, how to reduce the influence of unmixing errors on the subpixel mapping result has become a key issue for improving the subpixel mapping method.
