Two-point Perspective: Put It to Work

A quick word about technique: The ability to see your lines, but also the ability to see through lines as they build up, is crucial to ensuring your illustration looks correct. Here we will draw three buildings in two-point perspective.

When working in perspective, you’ll get better results if you can work very cleanly:

• Keep erasing to a minimum.

• Keep your line work reasonably light; work with a light colored pencil or ink color (if you’re working digitally) for your perspective lines.
