INTEGRATION: AN END AND A NEW BEGINNING

The closing of an acquisition deal is the fruition of months—even years—of hard work. It’s no secret, though, that a whole new round of work begins the moment the ink dries on that prized contract. The integration of two companies is a major operation that requires skill, diligence, and patience. We may be at the end of the buying process, but we are standing at the threshold of a new episode—the marriage of two entities, each with its own history, capabilities, weaknesses, and culture.
