C. Sample Plain Text Report Data
service-dump is a Server Application Function (SAF) built in to the Web Server that collects various pieces of performance data from internal Web Server statistics (stats-xml) and displays them in an ASCII-formatted text report.

You might see references to service-dump, perfdump, or a Plain Text Report in the Sun documentation. They all refer to the same functionality.
