Preface

Supply chain management is an area that has generated a great deal of interest in academia over the past two decades. The emergence of supply chain management is a response to increased competition in the global market. It integrates suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers to reduce costs over the entire chain and to respond quickly to customer needs.
