The current pharmaceutical transportation scenario in India is extremely complex. One of the main reasons for this complex supply chain environment is the presence of more than 8 to 8.5 lakh retail pharmacies which are spread across India.
In India, a large number of medicines must be transported to distant areas through poorly connected routes and poor road conditions.
