Chapter overview
Stage 5 covers the process of building, when the original aspiration of the client becomes reality. It is a test not just of the contractor’s skills but of the skill of the design team in developing a design that can be built on time, on budget and reflecting those Sustainability Aspirations that informed the Initial Project Brief, which have been translated into a set of contractual requirements with key performance indicators (KPIs) that can be tested on completion.
