In 2001, I was almost “kicked out” of Oklahoma for mentioning climate change. In my final year at consulting firm, Arthur D. Little, I was leading a high-profile consulting assignment for the CEO of Kerr McGee. (Since that time, the oil and gas and chemical company sold its chemical operations by IPO as “Tronox” in 2005.
