design through registries of biological parts and standard data sheets of
the BioBrick assembly standard, which are developed and concerned with
proper packing and characterizing of ‘modular’ biological activities such
that these biological parts or devices with some prescribed characters may
be effi ciently assembled into gene networks in the future (Canton et al.
2008).
