Planning for Internet-Based Clients

Most organizations have users working from home or remote offices without a direct connection to the enterprise network. Mobile workers also use laptops or tablets at locations that are on the network and at remote locations. In other cases, systems such as kiosk computers or point-of-sale systems require remote management. As long as these computers have a connection to the Internet, Configuration Manager Internet-based client management (IBCM) can provide content distribution and other key services to those clients.
