Planning Boundaries and Boundary Groups

System Center 2012 Configuration Manager boundaries define network locations in which client systems may reside. As discussed in Chapter 2, boundaries are defined at the hierarchy level and are no longer used to define sites. Boundary groups aggregate boundaries for efficient management. Boundaries have two functions:
