All Software Updates
This node contains the master list of all updates available in the local update catalog. It is roughly equivalent to the Update Repository in ConfigMgr 2007 but vastly simplified while at the same time much more powerful and flexible.
Clicking All Software Updates in the navigation tree displays a full list of updates from the currently synchronized catalog, as shown in Figure 14.7. The information displayed in this list about the updates is customizable by right-clicking the list header and selecting those columns you would like to add. An excellent column to add is the Unique Update ID column because this is what is typically referenced in any log files tracking the software update process.
