SSRS Configuration

You now have SSRS installed, and ConfigMgr has the reporting services point role installed and enabled. It is important at this point to discuss SSRS role-based access control (RBAC) and implementing access control for your Reporting Services point role. There are several steps required to allow your end users access to Reporting Services for ConfigMgr; these are discussed in the next sections. SSRS security can be configured either from the ConfigMgr console as covered in the “Interacting with the Console” section or directly from SSRS Report Manager. Conceptually, you must understand that either technique interacts with the underlying RBAC security layer within SSRS.
